The

Benefits

MTTR

Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) is one of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of maintenance. Responding to failure notifications faster  and repairing equipment before they cause damage to your property, plant, and other equipment will save your time and money.

Operations can use mobile devices in the field to notify equipment failures quickly and report observed hazards & near miss events directly in your maintenance management system enabling your maintenance to respond faster and eventually your MTTR will reduce to minimum!

80/20

Reactive maintenance approach means that you spend 80% of your time on repairing and 20% on maintenance.

Identifying your critical machinery and equipment as well as spare parts, materials, and resources will enable you to develop preventive maintenance programs and focus more of your time on maintenance and less on repairs.

Eventually you will be spending 80% of your time on planned maintenance and only 20% on unplanned repairs.

MTBF & MTTF

Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) is the elapsed time between failures of a mechanical or electronic system. It is used for repairable systems. Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) denotes the expected time to failure for a non-repairable system.

The ultimate goal of preventive maintenance is to reduce your unplanned maintenance downtime to zero. Planning preventive maintenance work order well in advance before execution you will be able to make sure all necessary spare parts, materials and resources are available and route work and project work orders can be executed efficiently. Planned maintenance saves your time and money compared to unplanned repairs.

OPEX

Operational Expenses (OPEX) will reduce, when you can respond to failure notifications and repair your machinery and equipment faster before they will cause major damage to your property, plant, and other equipment.

Planned preventive maintenance will enable to plan and execute maintenance work orders more efficiently and reduce the time spent on unplanned repairs.

CAPEX

Capital Expenditures (CAPEX) will optimize, when you can make smart decisions about the replacements and refurbishments of your aging assets based on historical information and asset data collected  and kept in your maintenance management systems.

Extending the operational useful life of your critical machinery and equipment will reduce  and optimize your capital expenditures.

ROA

Return On Assets (ROA) will improve, when you reduce your unplanned maintenance downtime to zero and increase the availability of your operations and the volume of products and services you can deliver to your customers.

Increasing your sales and service revenue will increase your net income and improve you Return on Assets.
