The uninterrupted operation of the production process is ensured by the high quality of the maintenance service. As a part of this quality, there is a material management process where the availability of spare parts for production equipment is ensured. A good supplier network and coordinated purchasing, as well as proactive maintenance planning will help to minimize the probability of a break in production activity.

However, sudden and unexpected equipment failures are always possible and may result major production losses. The availability of critical spare parts and fast-moving spare parts must be secured through a locally available spare parts warehouse. The goal for any material management system is to achieve the required level of service with minimal material and administrative costs.

Artturi Stock is an add-on to the Artturi Maintenance Management System implemented for spare parts management, which can be used to manage the material management needs of a maintenance organization or a service company.

Artturi Stock includes all of the basic inventory management processes (input, recovery, inventory, arrival) and material cost tracking. The application works seamlessly as a part of the Artturi Stream Maintenance Management System but can also be deployed independently for inventory management only.

Artturi Stock includes also a mobile user interface that can be used to handle storage operations, for example with an industrial handheld reader that supports remote reading.

Purchase management

As a part of the ongoing maintenance material management process, purchasing management plays an important role. The timely availability and location of the material required by the maintenance process is ensured by effective inventory control systems supported by optimizing the use of the purchase system.

Artturi Purchase system includes supplier registry management, purchase order management, invoice processing, and order tracking. The purchase system has its own independent role for supporting Artturi maintenance management system.

Data content harmonization

Content information is an essential part of the effective usage of the maintenance system. The content of the system is constantly changing with active use and it is important that the rules and procedures for maintaining the content information exist.

Artturi MDM application enables management of the information in the system using an excel-based application tool. Creating and modifying information is easy and can be done during system usage or in smaller sub-assemblies without disturbing the daily use of the maintenance system.
