However, sudden and unexpected equipment failures are always possible and may result major production losses. The availability of critical spare parts and fast-moving spare parts must be secured through a locally available spare parts warehouse. The application works seamlessly as a part of the Artturi Stream Maintenance Management System but can also be deployed independently for inventory management only.
Artturi Stock includes also a mobile user interface that can be used to handle storage operations, for example with an industrial handheld reader that supports remote reading.
As a part of the ongoing maintenance material management process, purchasing management plays an important role. The timely availability and location of the material required by the maintenance process is ensured by effective inventory control systems supported by optimizing the use of the purchase system.
Artturi Purchase system includes supplier registry management, purchase order management, invoice processing, and order tracking. The purchase system has its own independent role for supporting Artturi maintenance management system.
